New Logistics Centre

3 October, Anders Holch Povlsen, CEO of Bestseller, has along with the mayor H.P. Geil of Haderslev municipality, signed the deed to the area by the motorway where Bestseller’s new logistics centre will be located.

“It has been a long process”, Anders Holch Povlsen says, “and at times I have had my doubts about the whole project. But luckily, we have had a good dialogue with Haderslev municipality, and I am happy that the agreement is now in place”.

“It is nice that we have found a good solution for the future, and that we can live up to our responsibility towards our colleagues in the area. I look forward to the construction begins”.

There is a plan for the construction, which should be completed in 2012. The first stage includes the archeological and environmental tests, which will begin immediately. Ole Barkholt Søndergaard from Bestseller will be responsible for the daily operations of the project.
