ONLY wants to hear what the bloggers want – not what fashion dictates.
People who work in the fashion industry used to have a monopoly on setting the agenda for fashion, but blogging has turned that upside down. Today, the fashion bloggers who speak on behalf of the general public receive just as much attention as the ‘real fashion experts.’
“We have invited some bloggers to blog on our website regularly, and that has become a great success. The bloggers are very talented, and we have a close co-operation with them all year round. Actually, we invite them to all our PR events so that they are always on the forefront of what is happening in ONLY,” says Birgitte Kjær Jensen from ONLY Marketing.
According to Birgitte Kjær Jensen, the tendency is that BESTSELLER’s brands increasingly monitor the fashion blogs to see what the customers want and to gather inspiration for new designs. “We really appreciate and cherish the blogging universe because we come close to our customers and hear directly from them what they want – not what fashion dictates.”
In August this year, ONLY celebrates its 15 year anniversary. As part of the celebrations, ONLY will arrange a huge blogging event on 25 and 26 August in Copenhagen for the best 15 bloggers from ONLY’s major markets.
“All 15 bloggers will be styled and photographed for the event, and a camera team will follow them around to make a story on each of them. Our plan is to promote the bloggers and their presence at the big event in their home country,” says Birgitte Kjær Jensen.
