Social responsibility is something that comes from within the spirit of our company: if we are able to help others, then we have an obligation to do so. It is about having that extra surplus – of both energy and resources – to help other people.
Bestseller has always put great effort and resources into helping people in need. In 1995 Bestseller decided to establish its own development fund, “The Bestseller Fund“, as an independent non-profit charitable organisation, aiming to help with humanitarian work and supporting various cultural initiatives in Denmark and abroad.
The Bestseller Fund primarily works with groups from the poorest levels of society in India and China, where Bestseller has suppliers producing its various clothes and accessories. The work of the Bestseller Fund is not directly related to Bestseller’s activities but serves as a means to give something back to these developing societies.
The work includes granting support to orphans and disadvantaged children, treatment and prevention of diseases, research, nature conservation and other humanitarian, educational, artistic, and cultural projects.
